![]() I would however try to look elsewhere as again the front panel has poor/restrictive airflow. Overall, I recommend it due to how it looks and the price of course. I don't think they had a white option at the time, so this was the best option for me due to the price and reviews. I believe there is a case just like this that DeepCool made but instead they made the front panel have holes/cuts in it to allow airflow to go in much easier. Would've liked to see an option that allows me to switch between the default front panel or a more airflow orientated panel instead. Once I completely remove the front panel, my temps are much better. I have 6 case fans installed (3 in-take and 3 exhaust) and even with that, my PC still overheats due to the restrictive airflow of the front panel. Overall Review: I would recommend this case if you like the look of it but just warned that airflow potential here is not good. Noticeable small dents and imperfections around the case (Not a big deal) No option to switch the front panel out to a more airflow orientated one. Please take into account the levels of cooling you will need in addition to the possibility some components may not be up to spec given this price point.Ĭons: Airflow issues (The sides of the front panel take in air but it is restrictive due to how small the holes are.) ![]() Though I am satisfied, it appears not enough care went into the build quality of this case beyond the materials themselves. Overall Review: Given the choice, I might not purchase this case again. Used some shoe glue to repair it, working fine. At first I thought the shroud cover was removable but I quickly realized the glue just wore off and the entire shroud panel was peeling. PSU shroud (plastic?) panel was half unpeeled straight out of the box. It has yet to permanently damage any devices but I am disappointed I will have to go to great lengths to pull any USB input out of the socket or neglect to use it. Top USB slot (towards PWR switch) is extremely tight and has already scraped four USB inputs. Good build quality, particularly the magnetic tempered glass panel, very satisfying to pull on/off, also allows me quick access to check overall temps within the case.Ĭons: - Airflow could be better, I purchased the case knowing there was no top ventilation though seeing it perform I realize that cooling may be inhibited purely by design. Pros: - Great aesthetic, I think the ventilation scale pattern on the side looks amazing, particularly with RGB shining through. Otherwise an excellent case that will cover most modern uses with ease. The verdict: if you like the rgb trend and enjoy seeing lots of colorful lights in and on your case, this is probably not the case for you. Using 2.5" to 3.5" trays, I was able to mount all six of my drives (4 ssd, 2 platter) with just the 3.5" mounts, leaving the three 2.5" mounts open for future expansion. The 3.5" bays that come with the case both can hold a pair of drives. All the drive bays and mounts come out for easily assembly. It's a very unassuming case that was fantastic to work with as I transferred from an old case that I'd steadily grown to hate. The chunky branding bar was entirely optional and not attached from the start. The glass on the side (this is a right handed case, so the pane is on right hand side) is a nice smokey black, so very little light escapes. Barely any lights on the outside - just the power and reset buttons and activity lights. Overall Review: A case right off the cover of Led Zeppelin's "The Presence," it's an ominous looking monolith. ![]() No external bays for disc drives or other media options. The "scales" on the side panel don't have filters - just a magnetically attached plastic grill to keep appendages out of the case. This is more of my problem because of how I wanted to mount them so the cables wouldn't be as visible. Riser feet keep it off the floor, has bottom ventsĬons: Drive mounts are slightly too far away if you don't mount with ports on the left - my power supply cables and SATA cables didn't have much slack as a result. Pros: It is surprisingly light for it's sizeĮverything easily comes off or out, making cable management easy and installation a breezeĬlever mount design supports 7 drives out of the box (3x 2.5" drives, 4x 3.5" drives). ![]() Support radiators up to 280mm on top and in frontĪdditional Information Date First Available Support up to six 120mm or four 140mm cooling fans Learn more about the DEEPCOOL Macube 110 White Best Seller Ranking ![]()
